MY STORY

Hello! I am Manasi, from Bangalore, India. I am currently in my first year of college and an Environmental Studies major.

Though I've lived in a city my entire life, I spent most of my holidays in the forests. Since picking up my first camera eight years ago, my passion for photography has taken me to some breathtaking locations across India. From the jungles of Jim Corbett National Park to the rainforests of Valparai, I've had the privilege of witnessing nature in all its glory. These experiences made me want to be a conservation photographer since I was a little child. This remains my dream and I keep trying to take photographs of wildlife and bring people's attention to conservation stories.

While I find inspiration in all aspects of wildlife, there's a special place in my heart for macro photography. There's something so special about exploring the world of tiny creatures. You'll find that a lot of my macro work is centred around frogs and snakes.
